JOSAA Registration 2017 Seat Allotment, Counselling, Choice Filling For JEE Mains And Advanced

JEE Advance Results 2017 have been released today. All the candidates those who have appeared for the exam can check the Results from here. Now the next step is the admission process. Candidates will get admission into the NIT's, GFTI's, IIT's through JOSAA. What is this JOSAA? JOSAA means Joint Seat Allocation Authority which has been arranged by the HRD Ministry of India for Joint Seat allocation for all 97 Institutions across India. There are totally 600 courses available for the candidates to choose.All the candidates those who qualified in the JEE Advanced 2017 have to enroll themselves for the JOSAA 2017. JOSAA Registration is done through online mode where candidates have to choose their favorite college and course. The JOSAA Online Application Form 2017 will be made available till 26th June 2017 by the officials of JOSAA. At the time of filling the online application form candidates can choose as many options as they want, but the seat and course will be allotted to them based on their merit. The JOSAA Option Fillings will start from 15th June 2017. Contenders those who want to register for JOSAA 2017 should be qualified either in JEE Mains 2017 or JEE Advanced 2017. Students who got qualified in JEE Mains 2017 will be allotted in NIT's, GFTI's in contrast the candidates those who JEE Advanced 2017 will be assigned seat in IIT's. Candidates can follow the procedure given below to register for the JOSAA 2017.

Step- I : Registration
JOSAA 2017 Option Filling & Registration Procedure 
  • Candidates should enter their JEE Mains Admit Card 2017 details.
  • The details will be fetched from the JEE Main Registration 2017
  • Candidates have to check their details whether they are correct or not.
  • Students can change their password, if necessary. 
  • They is also possibility to edit your contact details.
  • Click on submit changes button after editing and check the details once again.
Stept-2 : Option Filling
After you have submitted the details, you will find a catalog for various courses. The catalog will be available based on eligibility of the candidates. If you have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2017, then you will be eligible to choose almost all of the courses. But if you have qualified only in JEE Mains 2017 then you are confined to choose NIT's, IIIT's, GFTI's. After selecting favorite options, you can also arrange them in order of your choice with "Arranged Filled Choices". After choice locking, click on " I agree to lock my choices" or " I will lock my choices later". Then take a printout of your choices.
Important Dates :
  • Online Registration and Choice filling Dates : 10.00 am on 15th June 2017 to 5.00 PM on 26th June 2017.
  • First round of Seat allotment : 28th June 2017.
  • First round for seat Acceptance : From 29th June to 3rd July 2017.

NEET Results 2017 Likely To Release Soon; SC Orders CBSE To Announce Results

Supreme Court has ordered Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare the NEET Examination Results 2017 and to start the admission process as per schedule. The Apex Court has also requested the High Court not to involve in the matters of NEET Examination 2017. As directed by the Supreme Court, CBSE is likely to release the NEET Exam Results 2017 within few days.
